Well, I guess this is another update,
since you’re not here
This is probably the fifth call,
since the last one
Lately, my days have been pretty routine
Not much excitement, but I can’t complain
I make sure I don’t stay up too late,
sleep with a clean blanket,
and separate the clothes in the laundry basket
Still don’t eat breakfast, but I make sure to eat lunch on time
And before you ask, the plants are fine
I water them first thing in the morning
Not really a plant person, but for you, I’m all in
You know the house is always clean,
and I only keep tupperware with a good lid
Work has been going well,
I try not to bring them home
It’s been lonely over here, if you couldn’t tell
Just wish you’d actually pick up the phone
